So, I’ve gone of the edge and joined Twitter…

I’ve never really done Twitter before, and I have one account already that I rarely use, but it has all of my real life and personal information – social security number too, of course. But on a serious note, I just created a Twitter to be associated with my WordPress account. I decided I would venture onto it and see what all the fuss is about.

I mean, because I don’t really do it, I don’t really know how to do it.  But I’ve always been a firm believer in the idea that one learns best through application. So, I will give this a little whirl to see what I think of it.

And for those of you interested in following me on Twitter, I think I provided the link on my page, but just in case this is it here too: @AcquiescentSoul

Care to share the your own personal Highs and Lows from using Twitter?

  1. I’m on twitter @whatsandrathnks (yes, there’s no i in thinks… it was too long… :))… My blog posts automatically post there. Once in a while I read my feed but it’s soo much… I miss a lot. I don’t even do it daily. I occasionally tweet other stuff, not just blog posts… but it’s rare lately. I don’t have many followers so it seems pointless. Sometimes I retweet things. Oh, and the direct message feature is good to ‘chat’ privately with people. I use that occasionally with a couple of online friends…

But mostly I follow famous people. Like Seth Meyers, Stephen Colbert, Thor, John Mayer. And friends from WP. 🙂

  2. Twitter is usually used for random things, ranting, expressing your thoughts or ideas at the moment. It doesn’t matter if you tweet every minute because it’s the purpose of Twitter that’s why most of the celebrities use it for updating their fans or posting advertisements. 🙂
